About us
The School of Chemical Sciences is the largest chemistry-related department in New Zealand, with over 30 permanent academic staff and over 180 PhD students.
It has a very strong international reputation in chemical sciences research and a commitment to teaching excellence. Particular opportunities for this role are that we are in the midst of a significant curriculum development and we are developing an articulation agreement with North East Forestry University (NEFU) in Harbin, China that involves teaching NEFU students in China and in New Zealand.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have a PhD in chemistry, chemical education or a closely related field and will have a strong track record in teaching chemistry relative to opportunity. You will seek opportunities for collaborative teaching development within and beyond the School.
