The IUPAC 2023 Global Women’s Breakfast (GWB2023)
will be held as a sequential series of hundreds of breakfasts right around the world, and this year the theme is “Breaking Barriers in Science”. The overall purpose of the Global Women’s Breakfast is to establish an on-going virtual network where those in the chemical and related sciences can connect with each other in a meaningful way to support their professional aspirations.

Dr Vanessa Robertson (She/Her),
Director Chemical Weapons Convention Implementation Section, Australian Safeguards and Non-Proliferation Office.
Dr Vanessa Robertson is the Director of the Chemical Weapons Convention Implementation Section in the Australian Safeguards and Non-Proliferation Office. She has been in the Federal Public Service for over 20 years, working on a range of regulatory and STEM-related issues. Vanessa has a PhD in chemistry from the University of Queensland and a Masters of Nuclear Science from the Australian National University
