Mr Will Ray is currently Director and owner of P-E Handley-Walker Pty Ltd (t/as HAZCOM GHS) since 2005 providing consultation, auditing and training on Chemicals Regulatory Compliance, Work Health & Safety, and Management Systems. Will has over 30 years’ experience in the Australasian chemicals industry, including specialty chemicals manufacture, classification and regulatory compliance for Australia and New Zealand. DESCRIPTION:
Participants will be instructed and coached during practical workshop exercises on the classification of Hazardous Chemicals according to the GHS criteria under the model Work Health & Safety Regulations 2011 (WHS) / Safe Work Australia (SWA) GHS criteria, and an update on the two-year transition period to the GHS Revision 7 (starting 1/01/2021).

- Identification of SDS Information
- What is Classification?
- Converting ADG Code to GHS classification
- Conversion of Approved Criteria to GHS classification
- GHS Hazard Classes
- Where can I get information to help me reclassify chemicals to GHS 7.

This short course is suited to anyone who has responsibilities for the preparation of Safety Data Sheets, that includes Chemists, non-chemists and students.
