Physical Chemistry Division present
PhysChem Webinars: Quarter 4 2020 - 23 September to 16 December - 1:00 - 2:30pm AEST
The RACI PhysChem division will be hosting seven webinars covering topics across physical and computational chemistry over the last quarter of 2020 on fortnightly Wednesdays from 1:00 - 2:30 pm AEST, with one hour of talks and 30 mins breakout sessions each session. Talk titles, abstracts and Zoom link will be distributed on Monday the week of the webinars for early registrants, and at 12 noon for late registrants.
Our first webinar, on 23 September, will be headlined by the intriguing talk "Making Light Work: Femtosecond Spectroscopy and Sperm Sorting? Covid-19 Testing?" by Prof Cather Simpson from the University of Auckland. We will also have some more exciting two-minute research talks.
There is a single registration process for all webinars for simplicity; please note you will need to re-register if you have attended earlier events.
A significant reduction to the webinar costs for non-members has been implemented; $15 for students and $30 for non-students for all seven sessions.
