Winter is Brewing - the chemistry of brewing

Join expert brewers, a sensory analyst and a microbiologist/homebrew expert to learn about the chemistry of brewing.  From the comfort of your own couch you can sample four provided ciders and beers, carefully chosen to suit winter drinking, and hear four "matched" talks describing aspects of the brewing process.

These include:

Dr Graham Jones, proprietor of Kangaroo Island Ciders, talking about polyphenols and cider apple choice alongside his Colony Cove Original Cider cider;

Dr Tommaso Licciolo-Watson from the Big Shed Brewing Concern talking craft brewing technology and accompanied by the Big Shed Brewing Co FrankenBrown Brown Ale;

Briony Liebich, Sensory Analyst at West End Brewery (Lion Co) discussing how to taste beer like a pro with a Southwark Old Stout in hand;

Simon Dillon from AWRI telling the story of "shipwreck" beer alongside an offering from another local brewery.

 Your ticket - which is limited to greater Adelaide-based participants - gets you an invite to the webinar plus four beverages to taste and enjoy as you go from the comfort of your own couch.

We will send you a Zoom meeting link and password for you to join on the day; you will just need access to a computer.  If you want to participate in discussion or ask questions you will need a webcam/microphone.
