Global Women's Breakfast 2023 - Adelaide

 

The RACI SA Branch Women in Chemistry Group invites all RACI members and colleagues to join in IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast 2023, “Breaking Barriers in Science”.


Prof. Maria Makrides SA Scientist of the Year 2022 (SAHMRI Deputy Director and Theme Leader for Women and Kids) will present a keynote address followed by short presentations from:
• Dr Melanie Fuller (Defence Science and Technology Group) – Nanotechnology
• Ellen Swan (AusHealth) – Medicinal Chemistry and Research Commercialisation
• Merridy Manuel (Balaklava High School) – Chemical Education

When: Tuesday Feb 14th 2023, 7.30am to 9am

Where: Allan Scott Auditorium, Hawke Building, 55 North Terrace, UniSA City West campus, or Zoom-only option. 

Cost: $10/$15 staff RACI member/non-member or $5/$10 – student RACI member/non-member (free for zoom-only registration - register for Zoom here)

Tours of UniSA for school groups are being offered after the breakfast event. Please contact [email protected] to express an interest in a tour.
