You don’t have to leave home to take part – you can Zoom in the comfort of your living room, study, bedroom, dining room – or garden, weather permitting! If you cannot access Zoom, you can join by phone.
Come and solve the problems of the world and join other like-minded retired chemists. You don’t even have to live in Victoria to attend.
This month our guest speaker will be Dr Bill Palmer. Bill will talk briefly about his fascinating scientific career in the UK, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea and Australia. Bill is also a notable student of the history of science, and will talk about a couple of characters he has made recent studies of, the British organic chemist and educator, H E Armstrong (1848 to 1937) and his travels, and the American chemist and founder of the home economics movement in the USA, Ellen Swallow Richards (1842 to 1911), and the environment. All retirees (and those who would like to retire) from Victoria, interstate or overseas are very welcome.

Time: from 12:00PM till 1:00PM AEST
Cost: Free for RACI and reciprocal society members. $10 for Non-Members.
