RACI WA Branch and Group Annual General Meeting (AGM) & Chemaraderie
“Embracing a Circular Economy”

The AGM is an important part of the year. Please do not be afraid to come to this meeting for fear that you may be forced to join a committee or working group (that is not how the Branch works). The AGM takes up only a short portion of the evening, with the majority of the time being networking and the evening presentation. It would be hoped that most members can find time in their schedules and make the effort to attend.

• The AGM is in the normal Chemaraderie venue (the Exhibition space in Building 500 Curtin University).
• There is no charge for this month’s Chemaraderie as it is also our AGM.
• Drinks and nibbles from 5.30pm
• AGM from 6.15pm
• Presentation at ~6.45pm
• To be followed by more networking, drinks and nibbles.

The Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC) is an innovative regional local government authority working on behalf of five member local government councils located in Perth's Eastern Region: The EMRC provides services in waste management, resource recovery, environmental management and regional development.  The talk will be on EMRC’s Environmental Strategy, which builds on a number of UNs Sustainability Goals and builds programs to manage what is currently viewed as waste.
