C.S. Piper Award


For the best published original research work carried out mainly in Australia in the fields of either, soil chemistry or the mineral nutrition of plants.

The Award is made according to the following rules adopted by the Board:
The name of the award is the C.S. Piper Award, funded on a bequest from the distinguished foundation member, C.S. Piper. The award consists of a medal and a cash prize.

The award is open every two (even) years and is restricted to the fields of soil chemistry or the mineral nutrition of plants.  Applicants are required to be full members (MRACI and above) of the RACI for a minimum of 3 years and under the age of thirty five years.

The award will be granted by the Board for the best published original research work carried out mainly in Australia in the fields of either, soil chemistry or the mineral nutrition of plants.

Nominations


Nominations open 1 April and close 30 June each even year. The nomination document requirement is a current CV, a summary/synopsis of research papers and four referee email and telephone contacts.


The decision of the judges will be subject to the approval of the RACI Board. The Board decision is final and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into.
