Standards Australia has made us aware of a Productivity Commission review that will occur into National Competition Policy.
As part of this review, the Productivity Commission will consider whether it is appropriate to directly adopt international and overseas standards in regulatory frameworks and how regulated standards are harmonised across jurisdictions in Australia.
The review could have a lasting impact on how standards are developed, adopted, and recognised in Australia. Standards Australia is encouraging RACI members to have your say and provide any examples of how this may impact our sector.
