Mentoring Program

Mentoring Program

Effective mentoring is crucial for professional growth, providing invaluable guidance and insights that propel individuals toward success. At the RACI we recognise the transformative impact of mentorship, fostering a culture where experienced professionals share their expertise with emerging talents. This commitment not only enhances the skills and knowledge of mentees, and mentors, but also strengthens the collective fabric of the chemical community, promoting excellence and innovation in the field.

Mentorship is the bridge that connects ambition with achievement.

Together, we can ignite the spark of discovery and shape the future of chemistry.

Become the inspiration for younger generations today.

I highly recommend the program to anyone who wants to build their career by exploring their possible options. As a result, I got a job in a tech company that is #1 place to work for in Australia, Salesforce, and I am so grateful for it.

FAQs

Our Mentoring Program provides participants with an exceptional opportunity to glean knowledge from industry experts, fostering career development. The program facilitates one-on-one mentorship, connecting mentees with experienced professionals for personalised guidance. Participants gain access to their mentor's insights and network, with an emphasis on advice and experience rather than direct employment assistance. Notably, 80% of our program graduates secured employment within a month of completion in recent years.

Engage in regular guidance through calls and occasional meetings, agreed to by mentor and mentee. Receive career-centric advice on finding your first job or advancing your career. Mentors foster professional networks, introducing mentees to contacts and involving them in RACI events. Access a wealth of resources, including tools, articles, and links. Elevate your career journey with RACI Mentoring Program's transformative experience!

We are working to welcome a broader segment of individuals into our program but we are currently welcoming expression of interest from undergraduate and postgraduate students, preferably in their final or penultimate year.

RACI membership is a prerequisite.

The 2025 Careers and Mentoring program is currently active and not accepting any new applicants at this stage.
