We also held the prize giving ceremony for the ACT Crystal Growing competition which included a tour of the Crystallography Unit led by Michael Gardiner. • Call for volunteers during National Science Week

Are you keen to share you love for science with the next generation?

The ACT branch is hosting a stall during National Science Week as part of the Science in the Centres program. We have participated in this for the last two years. We had over 1000 kids come through and great fun was had by all.

Our stall this year will be running on Saturday the 17th of August at Gunghalin Marketplace.

If you are interested in science outreach and would like to be involved this year, please contact Nick Kanizaj (n.kanizaj@unsw.edu.au)
