The RACI Younger Chemists Committee (RYCC) is seeking Expressions of Interest from motivated RACI members to join the committee in 2026.
The RYCC was recently established as a Committee of the RACI Board, providing a national voice for younger chemists and advising on programs, services, and opportunities that support and grow the young chemistry community in Australia and beyond π.
π For 2026, we are seeking state representatives from:
π NT | ACT | SA | TAS | QLD
We're keen to build a committee that reflects the diversity of chemistry disciplines and career pathways, with strong links across academia, industry, and government.

We encourage Expressions of Interest from RACI members who are:
π Undergraduate or postgraduate chemistry students
π¬ Earlyβcareer chemists
βοΈ Recent chemistry graduates working in the chemistry profession
π What's involved?
β’ Twoβyear appointment
β’ ~12 meetings per year (held online π»)
β’ A chance to contribute, advocate, and make a real impact for young chemists
