    Hi @Sian Kerr-Pilling,

As the year wraps up, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your hard work and dedication to RACI's events. Organising over 130+ events is an amazing feat, and the improvements you, Faith, and Denise have made to the registration process have been fantastic.

Faith, your consistent support has been brilliant, and Denise, you've already made a big impact in just a month. The team's efforts have really enhanced the experience for our attendees and helped build a stronger sense of community within RACI.

But what really stands out to me is your bubbly and supportive energy, Sian. It's made my work year feel so uplifted and enjoyable. Your positive vibe is infectious and has made a real difference.

Thanks again for all your efforts. I hope you all have a great break over Christmas and a happy New Year.

    Your Pizzazz Architect,

    Jenny Pham

Wow, @Jenny Pham, you've truly got me in the feels here! Thank you so much for your kind words and appreciation for the events team-it means the world! It's wonderful that you recognise how far we've come and the amazing efforts of our EOCs in planning, organising, and executing their events this year.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without your incredible dedication to the communications space. From promotions to website updates, webinar uploads to template/report preparation (and SO much more), you truly are the glue that keeps everything running smoothly.

And you are spot on, @Faith Fraiia and @Denise Parwada are incredible women, who have both brought a unique and valuable skill set to the RACI Family this year.

I'm excited about continuing to support each other in 2025-it's going to be a year full of amazing opportunities and successes.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, you incredible one-woman powerhouse! <3

This year has seen me begin my transition back to science, after seven years working in the recruitment industry, and I'm grateful for my various RACI connections for their ongoing support during this period of self-imposed unemployment.

Even at just shy of fifty, making this choice to leave a full-time permanent position was not even close to being a tough one. My passion for helping others to find themselves a suitable opportunity to utilise their skills and experiences must now be applied to myself.

    Wish me luck!

All the very best of good fortune in your career change, Daniel. It can be really tough to make these moves mid-life. Any idea what direction you may be headed?

    G'day Tom,

Ideally, as I'd accrued an array of skills and experience in the area, something involving analytical chemistry (i.e., chromatography and/or spectrometry). However, the seven years in recruitment mean I really should consider positions that leverage those transferable people skills.

Mid-life is also a consideration for me. Fifteen to twenty more years of full-time employment ahead of me, subject to ongoing good health. I'm looking for an alignment between my prospective employer's goals and where I can add value as part of their team.

I need to get a few irons in the fire early on in the new year.

    Cheers,

    Dan
