Congratulations, Prof. Henderson, however It's times like these that I miss Chemistry in Australia. His work would have made a great article in CiA. I found the citation for his richly-deserved medal to be quite opaque, so I turned to Chat GPT to find out more. It helped a bit, but what I needed was more detail in the easy to read sort of article in which CiA excelled. I have thought that perhaps that when awards are given and/or R&D receives media attention a blog should be written and posted on this website. It would help if blogs were given more prominence and were easier to find than is presently the case. May I suggest that a blog tab may be given home page prominence, appearing after we log in? I feel that there is a need to more  vigorously  publicise the richness and diversity of Australian chemistry.

Tom, firstly thank you for the kind words. I'm in support of anything that promotes Australian Chemistry and the excellent work that is being done out there that goes unrecognised.

The only condition (for me on this is one) is that a photo of the award winner is not included :)

    Thanks again
    Luke
