Building on Scott's previous post and a bit of self-promotion, I wanted to let you know that I will be making a presentation at the HSE Division's "Not an AGM" meeting. The Presentation entitled The Curious Case of Acryloyl Chloride - will take you through an in-depth comparisons of SDS for Acryloyl Chloride and how potentially, misleading or absent information can impact the safety protocols put in place to protect laboratory staff. This presentation and case study forms part of my PhD research entitled An Investigation into the accuracy of safety data sheets and the impact of inaccurate safety data sheets on the risk assessment process.
Note that this is a good opportunity for the members of the HSE Division Community to have a say about the Division, the activities, and hopefully bring new ideas and fresh faces to the HSE Division Committee.
