Most labs aren't in "assessment-ready" mode all year round, but being prepared ahead of a NATA visit can make a significant difference.
LTT is hosting Industry Connect Melbourne, focused on practical approaches to embedding ISO/IEC 17025 compliance into everyday lab operations.
📅 Tuesday 19 May
🕒 3:00pm – 5:00pm
📍 METTLER TOLEDO, Port Melbourne
Register here: Industry Connect - Melbourne
The session will feature:
- Diane Hobday - Sector Manager, Materials, Assets & Products (NATA)
- Neil Shepherd - Sector Manager, Life Sciences (NATA)
- Karen Moore - Founder, Moore Quality Solutions
They will share practical insights into what assessors look for and how to integrate compliance into routine workflows, rather than approaching it as a last-minute task.
Following the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to network with speakers and peers in an informal setting.
This includes the chance to ask questions, discuss common challenges, and connect with others working in laboratory management across Victoria.
Attendees can expect to gain:
- Practical strategies for embedding compliance into day-to-day operations
- Approaches to internal audits that identify issues early
- Connections with NATA representatives and industry peers
Event details:
- Location: Level 1, 191 Salmon Street, Port Melbourne VIC 3207
- Parking: Available in the adjacent food precinct near Port Melbourne Subway; follow the green line to the office entrance
Additional note:
Attendees will automatically be entered into a draw to win a ticket to the NATA Accreditation Matters Conference 2026 (winner announced 12 June 2026 via LTT channels).
This event is hosted and organised by LTT. RACI is sharing this opportunity for awareness and is not responsible for event delivery or registration.
