The responses to the recent thread "Mourning Chemistry in Australia" raised some questions in my mind, chiefly around the general theme of how little I know about the RACI. The following are some questions. I look forward to the answers.
1. Currently, how many members in total does the RACI have?
2. How many of the members are financial, other than those HLMs like me?
3. Where can I find the results of the 2025 Members Survey?
4. Are there any data on the various areas of employment (and retired members), e.g., students, academics, school teachers, public sector and private industry (divided into in direct chemistry and non-chemistry roles in both areas)?
5. Is there any demographic data on where members live and work, e.g., inner urban, outer urban, regional and remote areas?
6. Of the total number of members, how many responded to the 2025 Members Survey?
7. Of those respondents, how many were:
- students
- academics
- school teachers
- public sector employees
- private industry employees?
