Maree Stuart FRACI CChem

Maree Stuart is the founder and leader at MAS Management Systems, Pericles Software and Lab Law. Maree is an analytical chemist “by trade” and a management systems leader by experience. She specialises in business systems and compliance, advice on legal issues faced by laboratories, and metrology of chemical and biological processes. Apart from her qualifications in Chemistry, Maree holds qualifications in business, politics and international relations, and law.

 

Mariam Martin-Mnatsakanyan, PhD
CEO & Founder 
AirLab.One

Dr. Mnatsakanyan is a PhD chemist with extensive postdoctoral experience in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacology. She has collaborated with organizations like the University of Geneva, University of Sydney, Nestlé, and CSIRO, and received the prestigious Horizon H2020 Marie Curie fellowship for her research on cloud-based lab infrastructure. With expertise in drug discovery, therapeutic research, and biomedical applications, she now leads a deep tech startup AirLab.One, focused on designing digital twins for medical devices, aiming to transform how professionals interact with complex systems through precise simulations and data-driven insights for better healthcare outcomes.

 

Dr. Binesh P Veettil
Senior Lecturer
School of Bioengineering, 
Maquarie University

Binesh received his Bachelor of   Technology Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology, India, in 2002. From 2002 to 2008 he worked in the defence sector, focussing on sonars, #re-control systems, and underwater   defence systems. He obtained his PhD in engineering in 2012 from the University of New South Wales. For the next 5 years, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the school of photovoltaics, UNSW. His focus was on the third-generation photovoltaic materials and   novel characterization techniques, one of which was taken up for commercialization by a Sydney based start-up Open Instruments. In 2016, he joined Silanna semiconductors as a device design engineer and worked on improving their GaN Deep UV LEDs. Finally, Binesh joined the School of Engineering in Macquarie University as a postdoctoral research fellow in May 2018 where he was  promoted to Lecturer in 2020 and to Senior Lecturer in 2023.

Rita is the founder and Director of pH Factor, a company that supports Product Development, Training & Education in the Personal Care and Homecare industries. Her background in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Formulation Science, Teaching and Management has allowed her to be a recognised and Science accredited cosmetic formulation and development chemist,  industry expert and voice, Science Communicator and be able to establish a focused career around formulations, ingredient technology, Education, and manufacturing for almost 25 years. She is the development creator behind many exclusive brands. Her role allows her in assisting and implementing new products to the market either by developing the brand from the beginning to the end or help transition a product from an overseas portfolio to the Australian retail market, helping in formulating, compliance, ingredient understanding & vocabulary, brand management and taking their brands to market as well as vital industry assistance. She is a member & previous Chair & Council Member for Education the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists, holds bachelor’s degrees in science-Applied chemistry (UTS) & Arts – Business Management (UTS), Diplomas in Cosmetic Science & Scientific Practice.
