The 2025 RACI Chemical Education Division Symposium aims to bring together the diverse community representing chemistry educators (engaged in research and practice) who teach in tertiary and secondary contexts in Australia. We welcome members in secondary education and of international communities to join us and share their work.
The symposium is typically scheduled in years between major RACI meetings, including meetings such as National Congress. This symposium is in-person with an emphasis on deeper discussions and opportunities to network with peers.

Suggestions for Travel and Accommodation
Monash University Parkville campus, surrounded by parks, is a short tram ride from central Melbourne and within walking distance of the vibrant inner-city suburbs of Carlton and Brunswick, which have contributed much to Melbourne's artistic and multicultural soul.
By car: Campus is located on Royal Parade, the extension of Elizabeth Street. Parking spots are available in surrounding streets - please take note of parking signs and restrictions.
By tram: Take the number 19 (North Coburg) tram, which travels along Elizabeth Street, Royal Parade and Sydney Road. The trip from Melbourne CBD takes about 15 minutes (Stop 16).
By train: Catch the Upfield line train from Flinders Street, Southern Cross or any of the City Loop stations to Royal Park Railway Station and walk through the park from there.
There are multiple accommodation options available in Melbourne CBD, Carlton, and Parkville.
Special symposium rates at the neighbouring Parkmore Hotel will be announced closer to the date.
Informal Dinner
An informal dinner will be held on Thursday, 26 June. Venue to be announced closer to the date and attendees will be asked to indicate if they would like to attend for booking purposes.
