DigiChem '27 is RACI's inaugural conference dedicated to the rapidly advancing fields of robotics, automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning in chemistry.
As digital technologies continue to transform the chemical sciences, DigiChem '27 will bring together researchers, industry professionals, technology developers, and innovators to explore the tools and approaches reshaping the way chemical research is planned, executed, and analysed. From automated experimentation and robotic laboratories to AI-driven discovery and advanced chemical data science, the conference will showcase the latest developments at the forefront of digital chemistry.
Designed as both a scientific and educational forum, DigiChem '27 will foster collaboration across chemistry, engineering, robotics, and data science, creating opportunities to share research, learn from emerging technologies, and discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Whether you are already working in this rapidly evolving space or are interested in understanding how digital technologies will influence the future of chemistry, DigiChem '27 will provide a unique opportunity to connect with the community driving the next generation of chemical discovery and innovation.

Professor Timothy Noël, University of Amsterdam
We are thrilled to welcome Professor Timothy Noël, Chair of Flow Chemistry at the University of Amsterdam and one of the world's leading innovators in the field of flow chemistry. Professor Noël's research sits at the intersection of synthetic organic chemistry and enabling technologies, leveraging advanced reactor design, automation and continuous processing to transform the way chemical synthesis is conducted.
A globally recognised leader, Professor Noël has received numerous prestigious honours, including the IUPAC-ThalesNano Flow Chemistry Award, the KNCV Gold Medal, an ERC Consolidator Grant, and the ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering Lectureship Award. In 2024, he was named a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and in 2025 was awarded the highly competitive NWO Vici Grant, completing the distinguished Veni-Vidi-Vici funding pathway achieved by only a select group of researchers.
As Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Flow Chemistry and President of the Flow Chemistry Society, Professor Noël continues to shape the future of chemical manufacturing and sustainable synthesis worldwide.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear from one of the pioneers driving the next generation of chemical innovation.
Professor Donna Blackmond, Scripps Research
