The Organising Committee invites you to attend the second Western Australian Symposium on Inorganic Chemistry (WASIC25) at Murdoch University (room to be confirmed) on 13 June 2025.
WASIC25 aims to provide WA scientists, with inorganic chemistry interest, a platform to present their work and foster collaboration between research groups to leverage the infrastructure available in WA.
If your work contains metal ions you are warmly welcome to participate!
The majority of content will focus on:
- Coordination Chemistry
- Metal-Based Catalysis
- Theoretical Chemistry
- Molecular Electronics (including conductance measurements with metal electrodes)
- Bioinorganic Chemistry
- Applications of Metal Complexes/Compounds in Life Sciences
- Applications of Metal Complexes in Materials Science
- Synthetic Chemistry
- Photophysical and Electronic Properties of Metal Complexes
- Nanoparticle Synthesis and Applications
- Critical Mineral Refinement
If your research area is not listed above, we still encourage you to submit an abstract. Submissions on emerging or novel topics are welcome. For any inquiries, please contact the organiser at Todd.Gillam@murdoch.edu.au.
