We are excited to announce the launch of the Expert Directory and Profile feature on our MyRACI Community platform. This new tool is designed to connect our members with a wide range of opportunities by showcasing their expertise to government bodies, private sectors, and other organisations in need of professional advice, committee members, board participants, and advisory group experts.

What is the Expert Directory and Profile Feature?

The Expert Directory and Profile feature allows members of MyRACI to create detailed profiles highlighting their expertise, qualifications, and professional experiences. These profiles will be publicly accessible, enabling organisations to search for and connect with the right experts for their specific needs.

How to Use the Expert Directory and Profile Feature

Step 1: Accessing the Directory

1. Log in to your MyRACI Community account.
2. Navigate to the Expert Directory section from the 'About' section of our navigation menu.

Step 2: Creating Your Profile

1. Start Your Profile: Click on the 'Create Profile' button. This will take you to a form where you can input your professional details.
2. Fill in Your Information: Provide comprehensive details about your expertise, including:
   • Areas of expertise and specialisations (**Please note that these are quite general at the moment, please email or message Hannah McCarthy to have more specific areas of expertise added to the list!)
   • Professional qualifications and certifications
   • Work history and notable projects
   • Publications and research contributions
   • Awards and recognitions
3. Upload Supporting Documents: Attach any relevant documents that can support your profile, such as resumes, certificates, and publications.
4. Profile Visibility: Ensure you opt-in to make your profile public. This is crucial for allowing external organisations to find and contact you.

Step 3: Managing Your Profile

1. Update Regularly: Keep your profile up-to-date with new achievements, publications, or changes in your professional status.
2. Privacy Settings: Review and adjust your privacy settings to control what information is shared publicly.
