It's time to bring the Australian rare earth chemistry community together…

Please join us at the inaugural Australian

Rare Earth Chemistry Meeting (OZRE2023) to be held at the School of Chemistry, University of Melbourne on Friday 10th February from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Oral presentations on all aspects of rare earth chemistry research are welcome, including extraction, separations, detection, synthesis, reactivity, structure, spectroscopy, magnetism, materials, imaging and new technologies.

Program Format
Setting the scene:  Emeritus Professor Glen Deacon (Monash University)
Short talks:         Each interested research group or collaborative team will be allocated a timeslot to present their
                                        rare earth chemistry research as they like.  

Discussion:          We will finish with a roundtable discussion covering future possibilities for our community and
                                        opportunities with, and lessons learned from talking to, industry.
