Queensland Annual Chemistry Symposium (QACS) 2020
Abstract submissions have now closed.
The fifth Queensland Annual Chemistry Symposium (QACS 2020) will highlight the range and diversity of chemistry research in Queensland. This one-day program will incorporate both short communications (3-5 minutes) and longer presentations (10-15 minutes) in concurrent discipline-based sessions during the day, thus allowing students and other delegates to access sessions across a variety of chemistry disciplines. Plenary presentations will bring together researchers across multiple disciplines, and the symposium will be followed by a social gathering to stimulate further networking opportunities. All Queensland chemistry researchers are invited to participate at the symposium. Abstracts for oral presentations are encouraged from all disciplines including (but not limited to) Organic, Inorganic, Polymer, Materials, Physical, Analytical, Biological, Medicinal, Environmental Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and Education.
QACS is taking place on Friday, 27 November 2020. There will be a mixture of delivery methods - online and face to face - depending on COVID restrictions at the time.
