Applied Research Award


The Applied Research Award is given to a member of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute who in the opinion of the Board has contributed significantly towards the development of, or innovation through, applied research, or in industrial fields. This contribution will be judged on evidence submitted to the adjudicating panel.

Award Entry Requirements

This award requires nomination by a senior RACI member. The nominated candidate is required to be a current full member (MRACI and above) for a minimum of 3 years. The award is judged on the candidate's work covering the last 10 years, or equivalent to opportunity.  The work to be considered for the award should include a substantial contribution made within Australia.

Nominations


Nominations open in April 2022 with closing date in mid June 2022. The nomination document requirement is a current CV, a summary/synopsis of research outcomes and impact plus four referee email and telephone contacts.  Please email in a single PDF document to [email protected] for the attention of Robyn Taylor.

The decision of the judges will be subject to the approval of the RACI Board. The Board decision is final and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into.
