@Jeff Simpson has run these Dangerous Goods Advisory Group (DGAG) meetings for many years, which are open to persons interested in discussing Dangerous Goods and related Chemical Hazards issues. The next one will be held via Zoom and, as Jeff would appreciate having an idea of numbers who expect to take part, he has asked that anyone intending to attend please email him (jeff.simpson@haztech.com.au).

The topics and issues discussed at each DGAG meeting are chosen by the group in attendance. Typically, after everyone has been introduced to each other, any noteworthy incidents are raised and then matters relating the ADG Code, etc, updates. Attached is the document Jeff sent out with the email message associated with this upcoming Zoom meeting-this contains the relevant details for joining the online meeting. However, please contact @Jeff Simpson to advise him you plan to attend.

There are a few requests for attendees participating in the video call that must be borne in mind, so please read the following to ensure your compliance: -

To take part in the meeting everyone must have their Video on and be able to use their computer Audio. Those joining without being able to be seen will be removed from the Webinar. This webinar is to operate in the same "seeing each other mode" as in a physical meeting.
Note: IF the video quality goes down in the meeting, we may need to switch off the video.

Please enter at least a First Name and a Surname, e.g. Jeff Simpson, so we can ALL more easily follow up and network with each other as needed.

For you to be able to be seen and heard via your laptop camera and [mic], your laptop security settings will need to allow this. (This is not made clear in the video and audio settings area by Microsoft, in Windows 10 go to Settings / Update & Security / Windows Security / App & Browser Control / Change your Privacy Settings / then App Permissions-in the left column with Camera and Microphone). Here you can turn on and off each App's Permisions.

Meeting Noise: To minimise background noise, it is probably best to use your mobile phone ear phones and microphone plugged into your PC and be in a quiet location. Everyone must keep their microphones muted (unless part of the conversation). At the most, 5 [microphones] are to [be] in operation at any one time due to feedback loops / background noise. If you want to eat or drink, [please mute your mic] and briefly move out of view whilst taking each sip or bite.

No Recordings Allowed: As the Webinar moderator, I will also switch off all recording for everyone and myself; and I ALSO require that [nobody] will separately record the meeting e.g. by using a mobile phone. Screenshots of the attendees are also NOT to be taken.
