- What are you passionate about within the field of chemistry?
Investigation on volatile plant secondary metabolic synthesis in medicinal and aromatic plants, NMR characterization. Gas Chromatography and mass spectrometry for method development and identification
- Do you have any favourite projects or research topics you're currently working on?
I am working on identification of plant VOCs for their role in plant signalling. Besides, radiocarbon (14C) based discrimination of food flavour chemicals is a new area where I have started working on.
- Any fun facts or hobbies you'd like to share with the community?
I play badminton and I am representing CIMAP at National level. My other hobbies include trekking, wildlife photography and bird watching.
