National Measurement Institute Visit (VAG1688)

When:  Aug 8, 2024 from 15:00 to 17:00 (ET)
Associated with  VIC Branch

Australia's National Measurement Institute is our government's "authority on measurement" but what does that mean in practice?

Join us for a tour of the Port Melbourne laboratories where scientists analyze food and produce for chemical and biological safety and nutrition and learn about the history of NMI and its component parts, its role in establishing standards for food analysis and the specific activities of the Port Melbourne site.

Following the tour registrants are invited to join members of the Analytical and Environmental Committee for dinner (cost not included in the registration) at the Colonial Brewing Company next door at 89 Bertie Street.
